Cannich Playing Field
The shinty club & sports field facilities, via grants given to the Strathglass Shinty Club & the Cannich Sports & Recreation Ground Committee, have been awarded funding for various projects including training programmes to help build the skills of young players and refurbishment of the kitchen and changing rooms.
Strathglass Shinty players head back from their last away game of the 2025 season at Inverary. Travel costs for this, and all sections of the club, were funded by SCF.
Three Strathglass Shinty Club players, Alaisdair Wallace, Struan Hood, and Ruairidh Todd attended the Camanachd Association U17 Performance Camp in July 2025. Their places were funded by SCF.
Youngsters from Cannich enjoy a fun day playing Unihoc at the village hall as part of coaching and development support provided by Strathglass Shinty Club and funded by SCF.
