In 2020, a grant of £10,000 was given to the Strathglass & Affric Community Company to support their Nurse’s House project in Cannich village. The Old Nurse’s House had fallen into disrepair and was no longer in use, and even the out-building had become unsuitable for the weekly Doctor’s surgery.

All the buildings were taken down in 2021 and replaced with two lovely new affordable homes.
