The first SCF Grants were awarded in August 2018, as outlined below:

• Cannich Bridge Primary School – £7,500 for smart boards
• Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team – £2,500 for rescue equipment for their vehicle based in Cannich
• Cannich Sports and Recreation Ground Committee – £2,073.50 towards upgrading the kitchen facilities
• Strathglass Heritage Association – £1,000 towards display boards and maps for the heritage centre
• Strathglass Marketing Association – £1,000 towards two all weather marquees for events
• Clachan Comar Fund – £500 towards fencing to secure the ancient burial site from stock
